Contact Artist | FilmSophie HydeSophie has worked as a director and producer of documentaries, dance films, music clips, fashion and theatre. She has worked substantially as a video artist on many dance and text based performance work as well as creating work with and teaching young (often disenfranchised) people. She has worked in many areas of the Australian film industry, including, as a locations manager and a producer’s assistant on feature films. Alongside partner Bryan Mason, Sophie runs a screen media company, Closer Productions through which she wrote, directed and produced the documentary "Ok, Let's Talk About Me" for SBS’s Inside Australia series.
