SAYAB services provide support, advice and assistance to funded companies, artists working with children and young people and young artists and artsworkers developing their professional careers.This program includes the following initiatives:
- Administering the Project and Development Grants program on behalf of SAYAB by providing advice and assistance to applicants and servicing the panel of peer grant assessors. This includes delivering general information sessions in central and outreach metropolitan locations, providing one-on-one consultations to provide feedback on draft applications, accessing panel feedback for grant applicants after assessment. - Delivering the Pit Stop program for Youth Arts Companies funded by SAYAB in response to the specific needs of the three most critical components of a healthy company - Creative, Managerial, and Governance.
- Support and professional development for all Youth Arts Companies funded by SAYAB ensuring professional standards and practice maintained (including mandatory reporting, duty of care, behaviour management, governance, financial management and OHS and Safety etc.)
- Developing internal Carclew policy documents as templates for policy development by Youth Arts Companies funded by SAYAB.
- Helping young artists, and community groups wanting to work artistically with children and young people, to find money for their projects by providing funding advice and direct support with application writing. For more information on Grants, Awards and Scholarships
