OFF THE COUCH TV COMMERCIAL COMPETITION

Carclew Youth Arts is searching for film-makers, animators, actors, music-lovers and all creative minds aged 12-26 to create a commercial for its 2010 Off The Couch (OTC) season. Carclew is looking for four different commercials covering various genres of music. Applicants can create adverts that contain one, some or many genres though only one entry per genre will be accepted. The winning entries will be screened on Channel 10 in early 2010.

Background

Off The Couch is a program philosophically committed to engaging young people’s participation and, over the past 14 years, Off The Couch (OTC) has become South Australia’s best-known contemporary youth music event, by, for, and with young people aged 26 and under.

It has showcased and promoted the talent of emerging young bands and artists in genres including rock, metal, acoustic, alternative, hip hop and much more. It has always been designed, organised, implemented and evaluated by the resourceful, energetic and dedicated young people that it also serves.
