Carclew Youth Arts invites applications for participation in a 3-week new media public art creative development and masterclass with Brisbane based artist, Craig Walsh.  A small group of South Australian artists will be selected through application to work part-time with Craig over this period to develop concepts that will explore digital projection art and its relationship to built and natural environments, using collaborative techniques across disciplines and hybrid practices.  Artists practicing in the areas of video, photography, animation, film, public art, installation-based practices, new media arts and the visual arts are encouraged to apply.

The 3-week development period will be on a part-time flexible basis, with artists booking in to work with Craig around work or study commitments. It is expected that the masterclass and creative development will be intensive, with the possibility of working into the night. A full-time technician will be employed on the project to support technical experimentation.

Applications will be accepted from groups as well as individuals aged 26 years old or under.
